Their wealth of experience, innovative leadership, and commitment to economic and community growth will further NPRCC’s mission to empower Puerto Rican businesses and entrepreneurs.
Dr. José Morey, a visionary at the intersection of health, technology, and space, is the CEO and Founder of Ad Astra Media LLC and Co-Founder of Ever Medical Technologies. Recognized as the world's first "Intergalactic Doctor," Dr. Morey has served as a consultant for NASA, Forbes, MIT, and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. His groundbreaking work in technology and medicine has positioned Puerto Rico as the future "Silicon Island," garnering features in Forbes, CNBC, and Hispanic Executive. In addition to his expertise in innovation and entrepreneurship, he is a strong advocate for Latino business success, co-authoring the best-selling book Latinx Business Success. NPRCC is honored to welcome his leadership as he helps guide our efforts to advance economic growth and opportunity.
Laura Maristany, a seasoned advocate, community builder, and impact-driven leader, brings over 20 years of experience in philanthropy, corporate affairs, and policy. She is the Founder & CEO of Prospera Insights LLC, where she advises on the growth of tech-driven economies and aligns investment in workforce and innovation strategies. Her tech startup, Katch Skills, is redefining how we value the way people learn by building tools that capture and elevate skills gained through real-world experience. Laura has helped raise millions to advance transformative initiatives globally, and her expertise in Capitol Hill, along with her deep connections with decision-makers nationwide, will be invaluable to NPRCC’s mission of empowering Puerto Rican businesses and communities. Her leadership has earned her prestigious recognitions, including the Grand Cross of the Order of Civil Merit awarded by the King of Spain. Beyond her professional achievements, she is a devoted mother and an adventurous spirit who enjoys staying active and sailing the beautiful waters of Puerto Rico. NPRCC is excited to have Laura on board and looks forward to the impact she will make.
